INTRODUCING A NEW 75 MINUTE CLASS ON TUESDAYS 7:15 PM TO 8:30 PM

This class is an invitation to enter into a very mindful yoga practice. Yin yoga is a more passive and meditative form of yoga targeting the joints and deep connective tissues of the body by holding poses for 3 to 5 minutes. By allowing our breath to guide us to an appropriate “edge” of sensation through stillness, we develop a deeper connection with the body, the mind, the emotions, and the breath, making the yin practice a perfect compliment to the practice of meditation.
Trish & Monica will begin with a focus on breath work, followed by a short meditation leading into various yin yoga poses.
Participants will be encouraged to incorporate mindful breathing and meditation techniques to help the body relax and recover.
