“My journey at Sun Yoga began this spring as I enrolled in the Teacher Training Program. I work a busy job at an investment firm and I wanted to incorporate yoga into my life on a more regular basis in order to balance my work. To me, yoga is not only a form of physical exercise but also a full mind and body experience. The teacher training has provided me with a new perspective on life and has enabled me to better address issues at work and at home. It has truly calmed my mind. I was extremely pleased with the amount of education provided through the teacher training. We were taught philosophy by a qualified philosophy professor from Sheridan college and Anatomy by a qualified massage therapist. The teacher training incorporated a good balance between study and physical practice of asanas. During our teacher training, we were provided with one on one attention and were teaching our own classes in our third week. I truly feel that I am qualified to practice yoga after having taken the Teacher Training at Sun Yoga and I thank the instructors for their time and dedication.
“What a gift to have taken the Hatha Yoga Teacher Training at Sun Yoga. I was fortunate enough to learn one-on-one with Jasna, her wealth of information and experience and her gentle nature imparted an experience far beyond the teacher – student acquaintance.
I began the teacher training looking for growth in my life, to deepen my yoga practice and to help live a peace filled existence. I not only learned how to teach yoga but had an amazing personal journey!– Cheryl
“Becoming a yoga instructor was dream I had but never acted upon. I had been practicing at Sunyoga for a few years and when I realized I could take my teacher training with Jasna this was like a dream come true. The course was very intense and there was a lot of work involved but now that I am done and am looking back at the past few months I am happy and proud of what I accomplished. The teachers, Sharron and Jasna, were very knowledgeable and personable. They were always willing to answer any questions and they taught from their hearts with a passion for yoga. This course really improved my yoga practice I now understand and feel poses on a different level. It also changed my life, I was a different person when I started the teacher training and now my eyes are open and I feel like I am a new me. I would highly recommend this course to anyone who is interested in becoming a yoga teacher or anyone who wants to improve their yoga practice!”– Rachel
]”Yoga teacher training at Sun Yoga was an amazing journey. As well as allowing you to become fully immersed in the practice of yoga, this training also leads you through personal growth, and allows you to uncover new emotional and physical strength. It was fascinating to learn in-depth knowledge of the asanas, philosophy, and anatomy. Having two instructors for the course was a great way to offer two different perspectives and areas of expertise. I highly recommend this program if you are looking to study traditional, hatha yoga.” — Clare
